BBC Politics South East – Lip Filler Ban For Under 18’s

As the number of people seeking cosmetic treatments under the age of 18 continues to rise, Save Face Director Ashton Collins talks about why legislation is needed to protect young people from being exploited by unscrupulous practitioners. Save Face Accredited Practitioner Dr Sophie Shotter is also featured on the programme discussing the type of complications that patients are suffering with after being injected by untrained practitioners.  In the studio, Natalie Graham is joined by Conservative MP for Sevenoaks Laura Trott who talks about why she introduced a private members bill to prevent under 18’s from having treatments. Former Love Island star Amy Hart shares her experience of being trolled about her appearance and talks about being targeted by cosmetic clinics offering her free treatments after leaving the show.
