Nuvo Aesthetics is an immaculate, contemporary nurse-led clinic in Bedford Town Centre. Owner Nurse Laura performs all the injectable treatments at the clinic. She is an experienced medical aesthetic nurse and independent nurse prescriber. She has performed hundreds of injectable treatments including anti-wrinkle injections (Botox®), dermal fillers, lip enhancements, non-surgical rhinoplasty, tear trough treatments, ProfHilo and Sunekos skin boosters. Laura is a skincare specialist for ZO® and AlumierMD®, providing homecare advice, skin resurfacing treatments and microneedling.
After qualifying in 1997, Laura has had extensive nursing experience. This includes working on a maxillofacial ward and outpatient department. She also worked as a senior ward nurse in a private hospital. This general nursing background enables Laura to provide safe, personalised care.
Laura is a regional leader of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, the largest professional association for nurses carrying out cosmetic treatments in the UK. It operates under a strict Code of Conduct in order to ensure patient safety across all treatments undertaken by its members.
Nurse Laura is also a member of ACE (Aesthetic Complications Expert) Group. This group maintains high standards in medical aesthetics by producing evidence-based, peer reviewed guidelines for the management of complications so maintaining patient safety.
Laura Arena is fully insured and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
