Abbey McLaughlin, founded The Aesthetics Hub® in Liverpool and is an Independent Nurse Prescriber with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC), an active member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) group. Abbey is highly experienced in aesthetic practice and has treated hundreds of happy aesthetic patients since 2011, who travel from all over the UK to our Liverpool clinic. Abbey has a top-class honours Degree in Nursing from the University of Manchester and had over 10 years’ of experience working in the NHS on Intensive Care Units and as a specialist Nurse within the community before leaving to concentrate on aesthetics full time in 2016.

Helen Blanchard, (who's Liverpool business Fresh Faces Medical Aesthetics was acquired by The Aesthetics Hub in 2021) trained as both a general nurse and a midwife, with a nursing career that spans over 38 years, qualifying in 1987 and gaining experience in oncology, community nursing, general practice and maternity care.
Helen is one of only a small number of clinicians in aesthetic medicine with a formally recognised post graduate qualification which she gained from Northumbria University and has also been involved mentoring students undertaking this MSc program. Helen has been working in Aesthetic Medicine since 2008, during this time Helen was responsible for setting up and running the nurse-led aesthetics clinic at Spire Hospital Liverpool which she ran for 4 years. Helen is now one of the Nurse Advisors on the Save Face Advisory Board. Helen also has been actively involved with the Britsh Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and was instrumental in setting up the North West regional group as well as involvement with other local support networks in Liverpool and the North West.

Beverley Lawrence is our experienced Aesthetician. Her background started as a Beauty therapist 12 years ago and in the last 7 years has progressed onto more advanced skin treatments such as skin peels, laser and IPL. Beverley will help you achieve the best from your skin, treating you with the utmost care and knowledge. She is our lead the Hydrafacial, IPL thread vein and pigmentation removal, hair removal, Endymed radiofrequency skin tightening, fractional resurfacing and radiofrequency combined microneeding as well as Obagi medical grade peels and facials within the clinic.
