While our accreditation process is incredibly robust, we've designed our systems to be as seamless and straightforward as possible. Think of it as a supportive and proactive MOT for your aesthetic clinic, ensuring you're operating to the highest standards.

Upon registration, you'll gain access to your personalised dashboard area, featuring over 200 customisable templates, including policies, procedures, consent forms, protocols, and more, valued at over £3,000. You'll also be assigned a dedicated support agent to guide you through the process, from validating credentials to assisting with building your public-facing profile. The final step is a clinic assessment, which will be conducted via Zoom by our experienced nurse assessors. This assessment, which takes approximately 45 minutes, involves a review of your treatment setup, medicine management, lighting, and your consent and aftercare processes. We understand many feel apprehensive about this stage, but our assessors are there to guide you to a positive outcome, not to catch you out.

Following the assessment, you'll receive a comprehensive report with either recommended actions or confirmation of your accreditation. Our support doesn't stop there; it continues well beyond accreditation. We're on hand to offer professional support whenever you need it, providing expert advice and clarity on industry topics. Initial Registration

We've made document submission hassle-free. You can easily upload directly to your member dashboard or send them to your dedicated support agent. Clinic Room Assessment

Final Review

Upon completion of steps 3 & 4, your accreditation application will be submitted and reviewed by our Clinical Director. It is at this stage that we will make any recommendations or requests for further information to enable the accreditation process to be completed.

Save Face accreditation is a recognised benchmark of safety and excellence for medical aesthetic practitioners in the UK. It demonstrates your commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient safety, training, and ethical practice. Accreditation with Save Face enhances your credibility and helps patients choose trusted and qualified professionals.

 

Save Face accreditation is exclusive to the following registered healthcare professionals: doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives, and prescribing pharmacists. These professions are chosen because their statutory regulators recognise aesthetic medicine within their scope of practice and are all able to prescribe for medical aesthetic treatments

The first step is to complete our initial registration here. This provides you with immediate access to the Save Face member dashboard and a wealth of resources to guide you through the process. You will also be assigned your own dedicated support agent who will assist you throughout the process. 

Upon registration, you gain access to a comprehensive resource library, including over 200 customisable templates which include: policies, procedures, consent forms, protocols, and other essential documents (valued at over £3000). These resources are designed to streamline the accreditation process and ensure compliance with our accreditation standards and all relevant legislation. They have been written specifically for healthcare professionals who practice aesthetic medicine, and they are utilised by over 90% of our members. 

Yes. As soon as you register, you will be assigned a dedicated support agent who will be on hand to assist you at every step of the process and after you become accredited. 

To verify your professional registration with your statutory regulator, we'll require your PIN number, as well as copies of your training certificates, insurance coverage, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and clinic protocols and procedures. Don't worry if you don't have specific policies and procedures already written. Upon registration, you'll receive instant access to over 200 template resources to help you comply with our standards. You can submit all of this information easily via your Save Face dashboard, or simply email it to your dedicated support agent, who will upload it to the system for you. Here is a checklist of what is required:

Following the assessment, you will receive an email with any recommended actions or a confirmation of your accreditation.

The time to complete accreditation varies depending on each practitioner's circumstances. However, with the support of our dedicated team and the comprehensive resources available in your member dashboard, most practitioners complete the process within one month of registering. You have a full 12 months to complete the accreditation process, and your accreditation period doesn't begin until your profile is live on the Save Face register.

The support we offer extends far beyond the initial accreditation process. As a member, you'll continue to have access to our team for expert advice, industry insights, regulatory updates, and assistance navigating any challenging situations that may arise. We also issue quarterly newsletters and clinical updates to keep you informed of the latest developments.
