I have been a Registered Nurse (RGN) since 2008 and achieved my Masters in nursing at the University of Essex with the highest marks in my intake.
I have since worked in London, for two years in acute care and then as a Practice Nurse in busy clinics. In 2016 I started working as a Nurse Practitioner whilst undertaking a Post Graduate Diploma qualifying me to be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with independent prescribing.
When I moved back to my home town of Frinton, I worked as a prescribing Advanced Nurse Practitioner, looking after patients with illness and injury in emergency appointments in a Colchester practice.
After years of interest in aesthetics and a dream to start my own business, I completed my training in anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injections in January 2019.
Because patient safety and satisfaction is a top priority, I am continuously undertaking further training in aesthetic medicine to advance my skills and keep abreast of of the most up to date evidence.
I am also a member of CMAC (Complications in Medical Aesthetics Collaborative) who provide clear protocols, training and expert advice on preventing and treating complications that can arise.
I am so proud of the growing business I have built and get real pleasure in seeing my patients leaving the clinic with more confidence and a new vigour for life.
At Happy Face Aesthetics it is most important that clients are informed and comfortable with every step of their treatment so that we can achieve natural and fresh results together.

Here are some beautiful lips I did today. The patient already had a lovely shape, but just wanted some hydration and natural looking volume.
These swollen and slightly bruised lips suit her face so well, but they will reduce in size by week two giving the patient the natural looking volume she desires.

I’m so happy with my procedure. Helen is so lovely and is highly professional. I get terrible headaches because of teeth grinding, and clenching my jaw. I had Botox in my jaw and it helped alleviate all that. Will be returning for more beautifying in the future.

I had a large skin tag that I needed removing. Helen was very welcoming and friendly immediately putting me at ease. The procedure and outcomes were fully explained and I was happy to proceed. Two visits were required as it was large but im delighted with the results and costs which were modest. Overall experience was very positive and happy to recommend.
