Dr Shobha Rajagopal founded Raffles Medical Aesthetics with a simple principle: to honour the word “medicine” in Aesthetic Medicine.
With a background in ENT surgery and Neuro-otology, she brings a medical, anatomy-led approach to aesthetics, with an emphasis on understanding why skin and facial structures change rather than simply treating what is visible.
Her particular interests are skin longevity, regenerative aesthetics and the treatment of melanin-rich skin. Recognising that pigmentation, inflammation, scarring and responses to energy-based treatments can differ significantly across skin tones, she has developed her practice around considered treatment selection and technologies appropriate for diverse skin.
Raffles Medical Aesthetics combines injectable treatments with advanced technologies including Sofwave™ ultrasound, fractional laser treatments and medical microneedling, allowing treatment plans to extend beyond injectables alone. Dr Rajagopal's approach considers the different layers of facial ageing — from skin quality and pigmentation to collagen, soft tissue and structural change — and aims to intervene thoughtfully rather than excessively.
Central to the clinic is the concept of longevity: moving aesthetic medicine away from repeatedly correcting individual lines or features and towards preserving skin health, function and structural integrity over time.

I had an appointment here at the end of May. Even now amazed by the results! I have been meaning to leave a review for a while as I had a really good experience, and would really recommend others to come.
I had 1ml in my chin and it made a huge difference to my face. This was my first time having filler and was talked through the process, shown what brand of products was going to be used, and advised what was best for my face shape. I was shown how by mapping my face/certain placements of filler my results could be achieved - was very impressed! I learnt a lot, and left very happy.
Really exceeded my expectations. I felt as if all my concerns were listened too, and my wanted results were achieved. I was really nervous about getting filler, but have been so happy that I decided to just do it!

I honestly couldn’t be happier with my experience! The doctor was absolutely fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, professional and genuinely focused on achieving the best, most natural result for me.
She took the time to listen to all of my concerns, explained everything clearly and completely put me at ease. What really stood out to me was how thoughtful and generous she was with the treatment. She actually ended up injecting more than I had originally paid for, without ever making me feel pressured or trying to upsell me. She simply wanted to make sure everything was balanced and that I was genuinely happy with the result.
The results are beautiful and, most importantly, very natural — exactly what I wanted. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated rather than like I’ve “had work done”.
I would 100% recommend her to anyone considering filler or any other rejuvenation treatment. I completely trust her judgement and expertise, and I’ll definitely be going back when I’m ready for my next treatment. I’m also really looking forward to exploring other rejuvenation treatments with her in the future. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
