Dawn Attewell founded Therapy House in 2007 after many years’ experience in the health field. Having gained her Bsc Hons in Nursing Studies in 2000, she went on to study for an Msc in Clinical Nursing at the University of Manchester. At the same time, she was able to acquire further experience as a prescribing Medicine Nurse Clinician at the Royal Preston Hospital.
Dawn is also a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses. Dawn is currently studying for her Masters in Cosmetic Nursing.
It was in 2005 that she began to specialise in aesthetic treatments and is now highly qualified in non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Coupled with her extensive medical experience with the NHS, this has established Dawn as a leading Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner not only in the North West but further afield, too. Dawn was recently sponsored by Allergan to attend the European congress on anti ageing and aesthetic medicine in Paris.
In April 2011 Dawn was appointed to the Board of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses.
In December 2023 at the Diamonds Awards Dawn won the award for Best Aesthetic Nurse of the Year.

Having laser hair removal was the best decision I've made Laura was really friendly and professional throughout the whole 10 treatments and she made it much more bearable for me!
