Helen is a highly experienced award-winning Aesthetic Nurse with over 40 years healthcare experience, qualifying as a general nurse in 1987 and a midwife in 1996. Helen’s experience spans Oncology, Community care, General practice and Delivery Suite and now 18 years in aesthetics.
Helen has working in aesthetics for 18 years, training originally with Kate Goldie an internationally recognised key opinion leader within aesthetics. And regenerative medicine.
Helen set up and ran the nurse led aesthetic clinic at Liverpool’s Spire Hospital for 4 years as well as building her own successful multi practitioner clinic in Liverpool alongside her Llyn Peninsular satellite base which has now been delivering treatments since 2009.
Helen has been an Independent Nurse prescriber since in 2009, holds a Post Graduate qualification in Professional Non-Surgical Aesthetic Practice from Northumbria University and has mentored students undertaking the Northumbria Masters Program. In Aesthetic Practice.
Helen has been heavily involved at a national and local level working to improve standards within Aesthetics, encourage good practice as well as delivering training and education within aesthetics. Helen’s national roles include teaching and training established practitioners in advanced techniques as well as mentoring and supporting newer practitioners. Helen has recently been appointed as a director for British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) and has been a nurse advisor to Save Face since it began in 2014.
Whilst Helen has now sold her main Liverpool base she continues to offer and extensive range of treatments on the Llyn peninsular whilst helping and supporting other clinics in the North West.

After trying everything for my Rosacea and still not being able to clear it I was disheartened. Then I discovered Fresh Faces it was here I met Helen who was more knowledgeable than any of the GP's I'd been to, she explained to me the underlying causes and advised on the best treatment going forward which included Dermalux and a new range of skincare (face wash / moisturiser / and sun factor) and also a prescribed cream. It started to improve slowly and it took about 3 months to totally clear up but it has worked and I haven't looked back! Helen and Eve are great and I felt they went above and beyond to get to the bottom of my skin problem. I highly recommend anybody suffering from Rosacea to go to Fresh Faces.x

I wanted to reduce the lines above my mouth and for a small amount of filler in my lip line. It was important to me that I achieved a natural look and I didn't want to end up looking overfilled. saw Helen and she was brilliant. She listened to what I wanted and the look I wanted to achieve and she explained in detail what my options were. The procedure was pain free and I've had a only a tiny amount of bruising afterwards. I'm very pleased with the results and I would certainly recommend Helen and her team if you are looking for an aesthetician .

I have been seeing Helen for many years and have had various treatments with her; I have always been extremely happy with the results of every treatment.
