In the past 12 months Save Face have seen an alarming increase in the number of complaints regarding treatments carried out on girls under 18 who have suffered complications and adverse reactions after making impulsive decisions inspired by Instagram and reality TV stars.

To find out how accessible these treatments are to those under 18, the One Show sent 15-year-old actress Zoe to several treatment providers in Manchester to see if there were any willing to book her in for treatment. Shockingly, 17 out of the 23 providers she approached were happy for her to make an appointment to have lip fillers.

Save Face Director Ashton Collins discussed the findings with Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle and outlined what needs to be done to protect young and vulnerable people from being exploited by unscrupulous practitioners.
